The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) congratulates Kara Dao, CEM, DES, Chief Operating Officer, JDC Events on achieving IAEE’s first Certified in Exhibition Management® (CEM) Fellow designation. The CEM Fellows program is an honorary recognition program for those in the exhibitions and events industry who are at the pinnacle of their careers.
“The CEM Fellows program recognizes extraordinary professionals who have not just achieved excellence in our industry, but who have committed themselves to elevating exhibitions and events through mentorship, education and sustained leadership,” said IAEE President and CEO Marsha Flanagan, M.Ed., CEM. “Kara’s achievement represents the highest caliber of professional dedication, embodying the spirit of continuous learning and service that defines our most impactful industry leaders.”

IAEE CEM Fellows represent a community of mentors, teachers and thought leaders who have reached a significant level of responsibility, have been identified as a leader, and have shown a continued service through education and volunteerism.
The CEM Fellows program is available to professionals who currently hold their CEM or CEM-AP designations in good standing. Interested candidates may be nominated or self-nominate, must have at least 15 years of professional experience in the exhibitions and events industry, and must demonstrate leadership commitment and a continued service to the industry.
